  • Love Marget River Wines, a great area that just produces the best tasting wines, with many of them available at such a great price range. I especially love the Once & Well Cardonnay, perfect for those summer BBQ, and a favorite with friends. Would love to try the Forrest Cab Sauv would be perfect for enjoying around the fire.

  • I love a fruity, sweet white wine and there’s some great ones on the list here. If only it didn’t give me terrible heartburn when I have more than one or two glasses I’d drink more of it. Would definitely love to try a few on the list here. Sounds like a fantastic growing region.

  • Definitely one of the places now on my place to visit. It sounds spectacular. It was never a surprise that they would produce some amazing quality wine there in the region. As i get older, i really do appreciate learning more about wine and where it comes from and how its made!

  • I have been to many of these wineries as I live in WA and love how close these are with only a couple of hours drive away. Margaret River has some of the most delicious tasting wines in Australia. We are so lucky to have this so close by. My favourite is Xanadu wines.

  • The Madfish Cab Merlot is one that I would love to try as it sounds like a rich full bodied wine. I think it’s very reasonably priced too, so I will look out for it next time I’m at the bottle shop.

  • Highly Highly Highly recommended ANYTHING from Xanadu! Absolutely brilliant wine, have never had a drop I do not enjoy! I have always wanted to visit the winery down south when I get the chance

  • I think my pick of those, to have a try ,would be the Once & Well Margaret River Chardonnay.
If it’s making a name for itself and is Fruity, light & refreshing then I am tempted. It’s nice to have something cooling and light with a nice salad in Summer.

  • I hear so many wonderful things about Margaret River. It is one of the many places I’d love to visit one day. The winery looks spectacular and the wines im sure would be just as good! Thanks for sharing some wonderful options

  • Thanks for sharing this really great guide to the Margaret River Wines! It’s so important to explore our local offering. I think Western Australia is a little underrated as fair a wineries go and its nice to see this area spoken about and the wines it produces highlighted. I am partial to a nice white and the Voyager Estate Sauv sounds delicious!

  • I once held on to a bottle of Margaret River wine because it was given to me by someone special. When I finally did open it, it had gone off. What a shame. Moral of the story: don’t hold onto wine, drink it!

  • Really wonderful list, many exciting bottles to try. I was lucky enough to grow up not far from Margaret River, but it’s almost a missed opportunity to not have been an adult there to enjoy the spoils. I did get to try some great strawberries on the drives when my parents picked up a few bottles haha

  • Great list! Definitely added a few to my list to try

  • I love to see these lists with suggestions of good wines. I am not good at choosing and know very little so it’s nice to have something to go by. They all sound lovely and have a wide range of affordable prices. I’d love to go to the Margaret River .

  • I really love the unique names that they give some of these wines. I’ve never been a massive dry wine fan but I am slowly developing my taste buds and trying new ones when I go out or when I’m looking for a gift. I prefer to give a good bottle to my friends and family who all have a refined taste in wine.
