Decorations are going up and it’s time to sleigh the season with some of Australia’s best Christmas alcohol gifts!

We’ve hand-selected some of the most interesting alcoholic drinks to hit Australian shelves in the lead-up to Christmas this year. Some are quirky, others indulgent, but all are jam-packed with holiday cheer.

There’s no time quite like Christmas for gathering family and friends and toasting the year that was. And there are no sips quite like these newcomers to make the moment unforgettable.

Let’s take a closer look!

Sugarbird Gin Christmas Crackers, $40

Sugarbird Christmas gin alcohol crackers.

From a craft gin specialist in South Africa comes a juniper-rich gift any gin fan will adore.

This set of Christmas crackers includes six 50ml gin liqueurs to wrap taste buds around, including Blood Orange, Plum and Vanilla, Raspberry Pavlova (OMG, yes!) and three African Dry Gins.

A stunning alcohol-themed gift this Christmas – whether for yourself or someone special.

We Three Kings Gin, $99

We Three Kings gin bottle on a bench with an orange wedge.

Infused with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, We Three Kings Gin captures the essence of Christmas with a nod to its biblical origins.

Distilled by spirit master Philip Moore of Distillery Botanica, it’s just as delicious in a martini as it is on its own over ice.

Snowglobe Gingerbread & Orange Gin Liqueur, $60

Snowglobe Christmas Gin Liqueur Alcohol.

It’s Christmas in a bottle – literally. This stunning snowglobe gin liqueur from England captures all the magic of the season, from the scent of freshly baked gingerbread to the cosiness of a crackling fire.

But the best bit? Give it a gentle shake and watch 23 karat edible gold leaf swirl before you pour yourself a glass of pure holiday indulgence.

Flavour-packed and beautifully bottled with a cork stopper, this Christmas gift is nothing short of a showstopper.

Australian Christmas Gin 2025, $100

Four Pillars Christmas Gin 2025.

From Four Pillars, Australian Christmas Gin is a special sip that touches on all of the best flavours of Christmas.

Co-founder of Four Pillars, Cameron Mackenzie, distilled all of the ingredients used in his family’s cherished Christmas pudding recipe and then aged it in Rutherglen Muscat barrels for one year. The result is a juniper-rich gin with glorious hints of cinnamon and sweetness.

Artist Andrea Huelin designed the vintage-style label, which features elements from every bottle label over the past decade. If you’re a collector of this annual favourite, move fast to grab it!

Christmas Tree Gin Liqueur, $40

Christmas Tree Gin Liqueur 500ml.

Your bar cart called – it needs this!

Crafted in the UK and ready to gift, this 500ml bottle of alcoholic gin liqueur is brimming with delectable red berry flavours and brings the wow-factor of 23 karat gold flakes to every pour.

We’re loving the tree-shaped bottle as a centrepiece for the Christmas table – it’s festivity dialled right up.

Chrissy Bickie Gin, $79

Five Eleven Distilling Chrissy Bickie Gins.

It’s double the cheer with Five Eleven’s Chrissy Bickie Gin duo – and either (or both!) make one of our hands-down favourite Christmas alcohol gifts available right now.

The original is all festive spice and creamy vanilla, with undertones of ginger and clove. Its barrel-aged sibling takes things up a notch, adding toasted oak and silky toffee and a gentle hit of citrus.

Both of these beauties are a nod to Annette’s grandfather’s treasured speculaas biscuits. Each nostalgic sip delivers the same warmth and joy that filled their home every holiday season.

Gingle Bells Floral Gin Baubles Set, $79

Gingle Bells Gin Baubles.

Super popular amongst drinks gifters, Gin Baubles from Gingle Bells come in beautifully packaged sets of six.

Each bauble contains 50ml of premium gin and includes: Finger Lime Gin Snow Dome, Pepperberry Spicy Gin, Snowflower and Passionfruit Gin, Wattleseed Chocolately Gin, Wild Hibiscus Flower and Ginger Gin, and finally, Elderflower and Butterfly Pea Flower Gin.

And psst! If you buy five sets, you get one FREE!

Christmas Release Single Malt Whiskey, from $20

Old Kempton Christmas Whiskey.

From Old Kempton Distillery, this Christmas Release Single Malt Whiskey combines the aromas of malt, dates, oak, orange peel and cherries with a toffee-sweet finish and a touch of char. Consider it a nod to all your favourite traditional Christmas fare, including plum pudding and Florentines.

It combines four tawny casks: two matured for approximately six years and two younger casks for added brightness.

Options include a 500ml bottle ($155) and a 50ml sampler ($200), both strictly limited releases, so get your skates on.

Snowglobe Winterberry Gin Liqueur Baubles, $12.99

Snowglobe Winterberry Gin Liqueur Christmas Baubles.

Whether you need a secret Santa gift for a gin fan or want some adorably boozy placeholders for the grown-ups’ Christmas table, these gin baubles are just the ticket.

Each glass bauble features a stunning festive design and contains 50ml of winterberry gin liqueur.

The pièce de résistance is the 23-karat gold flakes in each bottle, making them the ultimate Christmas snowglobes for gin lovers.

West Winds Distillers Christmas Gin, $22

West Winds Distillers Christmas Gin.

From the distiller behind some of the best Australian gins comes something cute, festive and absolutely ready to gift.

West Winds Christmas Gin takes a different approach from several other Christmas gins, which are often intended to be sipped neat. Taking into account Australia’s hot climate over the festive season, this dry gin is gently infused with aromas of Christmas, making it the ultimate spirit for shaking up with ice in your favourite mixed drinks.

Ready for a new spin on your favourite G&T? I think so!

Spiced Christmas Liqueur, from $15

Spiced Christmas Liqueur.

Proudly made by Tamborine Mountain Distillery, Spiced Christmas Liqueur captures the spirit and taste of the holiday season.

Expect to find a medley of quintessentially festive spices in this drop. Cinnamon, spiced honey, nutmeg, clove and vanilla are all harmoniously blended with matured rum for full flavour.

  • My mum hardly drinks but if she does drink it always always a gin and tonic. I’m wondering now how a Christmas bikkie gin and tonic would taste because it sounds absolutely incredible! I hope they have a small size so I can get it and try it out before deciding whether to gift it to her

  • OMG the Christmas bikkie gin looks so good, I have had to have a look on their website. I am definitely asking Santa for these for Christmas, they sound so amazing and delicious. What a delightful idea to do for Christmas and incorporate the flavours of Christmas in the gin. I can’t wait to get my hands on a bottle.

  • The bottles and elegance of some of these! Particularly love the Gin Christmas crackers and the Christmas tree bottle. What a way to get into the Christmas spirit and make an impression around the table while I’m at it.

  • All these Xmas posts are getting me extra motivated to be a little more frestive this year. It all looks so colourful and fun. Gingle Bells Floral Gin Baubles Set would be my pick from all these with the Snowglobe Winterberry Gin Liqueur Baubles coming a close second. How cute are they!

  • How fun and festive is this article
I love Christmas time and what better way to spend it than to be sipping on some of these delicious drinks or even just grabbing some of the bauble or bon bons for co-workers, friends and family to all enjoy together with you as well

  • The Christmas bikkie gin would probably be one of my favourites. I have had similar drinks from local Tassie distilleries and they are amazing! One of my favourite things about Christmas is the smell of those spices and sweetness baking away in my oven, this drink relives all of that and makes it something I can turn into a cocktail to celebrate!

  • I love the idea that frankincense and myrrh have been combined to really make a symbolic Christmas gift and help us to remember the true reason for the season. This would be a great drink to sip and contemplate and think on to the year ahead. And what a pretty drink they have made it too!

  • How cute are the gin Christmas bon bons? The creators out there are really getting their creative on with things like that. I am loving the idea of advent calendars and this just takes the cake that little bit more- bon bons that you are actually going to want, instead of those weird trinkets you have to pick off the table cloth afterwards.

  • I LOVE that Tassie got a mention here! There are some really great options here that are making me quite excited. In Tassie we have quite a few local distilleries that come out with their own special blends like this. I love the one with gold sparkles- that will make the most beautiful cocktail!

  • We all need inspiration at Xmas and seeing some different items like this, Xmas Themed, make it all seem a little easier. I think most of us like to try anything new. I had a spiced liqueur at a Xmas in July function this year and loved it so the $15 sounds like my drink.

  • Wow! These Christmas inspired alcoholic drinks look and sound amazing! They are all so unique. There are definitely a lot of choices for everyone’s personal style and tastebuds. The presentation and designs of these bottles are top notch. They would be worth keeping once the bottle has finished. My favourite is the Snowglobe Gingerbread and Orange Gin Liqueur…now that’s magic worth sipping!

  • I am absolutely loving all the new Christmas gifts and ranges coming out lately! I saw quite a few of things gifts on show at Dan Murphys just a few days ago and they looked spectacular! Loved the gin baubles too and thought they were absolutely beautiful! They’d make cute little gifts

  • I’ve got a friend who loves creme de menthe. The candy cane drink would be so perfect as a gift for her!

  • Christmas time is the time of year that I love to become expressive with my alcohol and try new and exciting flavours.
The candy cane vodka is definitely added to the list for this year.
The little baubles would make a perfect gift as well.

  • These really are all gorgeous and nothing says Christmas Spirit than an actual Christmas Spirit on the table. It would just make Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that little more special being able to pop these on the table for everyone to enjoy. The bottles are too cute to throw away so Im sure they would be upcycled somehow πŸ™‚

  • Candy Cane Vodka, wow, what will they think of next! Very clever. It sounds delicious and minty sweet.
Also loving the little Gin Baubles. Sooo cute!

  • Intrigued by candy cane vodka

  • Candy cane vodka sounds delicious!! I can taste the sweet mint swirling in my mouth already! Candy 🍭

  • Shut up and take my money, all of it. I want these all

  • Gin Baubles what a great adult gift this would be, you could decorate the tree with them hiding in plain sight. What fun!

  • Candy Cane Vodka are you joking me!!!!!!!!!! what a brilliant idea, perfect for Christmas cheers

  • You had me at Candy Cane Vodka What a fabulous combination. I’ve added it to the Christmas drinks list and I am so excited to try it

  • I just died and went to heaven

  • I really want to try the candy cane vodka – sound delicious and something different to leave out for Santa

  • The Candy Cane Vodka sounds delicious and I think it will have to go on my Christmas Wish List. I also like all the festive themed drinks that are available to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays.

  • I love the gin baubles! I would not be able to guarantee that there would be any that had actually gin left in them by Christmas though. What a cute idea to decorate the table with as well as the tree.

  • I was just looking at these gin baubles the other day, they are so adorable! I’ve also seen gin snow globes. Many options us gin fans haha. I love the idea of a candy cane flavour. I’ll have to keep an eye out.

  • The sounds of Christmas gin sounds amazing and I love the idea of gin baubles too. Very creative and they look beautifully presented. I hope Santa buys me these for Christmas as they look fabulous and a wonderful gift idea for anyone who loves gin.

  • I can’t believe Christmas is coming up so quickly! These are all great gift ideas. I especially love the beautiful gin filled baubles!

  • i love Christmas time when so many brands come out with Christmas inspired or flavoured alcohol! its so festive and really makes for a great gift, and also great to enjoy in social gatherings around this time that make it feel so much more festive!! the gin baubles ive never seen before and are soo cute!

  • I’m soooo down with the candy cane Vodka! I can already smell the Christmas cheer.

  • That candy cane vodka has my name on it!! Can’t wait until it arrives!

  • I LOVE these!!! The gin baubles would be so cute on the tree and we could pull them off on the day! I am also loving the candy cane vodka idea, but my favourite of all is the spiced Christmas liqueur and it sounds like it’s so affordable too! It’s also great to see Tasmania getting a feature too πŸ™‚

  • How cute are those Gin Baubles. I’m sure they’d go down well in our house once discovered! I love the idea of special Xmas releases but in particular the Tambourine Mountain Spiced Christmas Liqueur sounds very tempting.

  • Ohmygoodness candy cane vodka! and only 50 bottles available! What a great price too! Time to hop on and order a bottle πŸ™‚

  • I want to try Gin Baubles!
Look amazing! And flavours sound amazing!
