A Dark Chocolate scent, the flavour if a good whiskey – a definite must have!

Westernport’s small batch craft distillery is nestled in the small coastal village of Blind Bight in Victoria. If I was lucky to win their Single Malt Muscat Cask Whisky, I’ll close my eyes and ‘blind sip’ the robust balanced flavour, aged to perfection, with just a hint of sea salt!

We usually try to have a whiskey on standby for special visitors, but haven’t tried Westernport and I should have as its Australian produced.

As a busy Mum of 3 and running a family business, coffee before 12pm and spirits after 12pm keep me sane and out of jail! A Westernport Whiskey on the rocks would be a welcome end to any stressful week!!

It’s not myself who drinks whiskey, but my husband and my son can appreciate this golden liquid very much.

Whisky is a must-have on our shelf and it has been for generations. It’s a reminder of nights sipping away whilst listening to my Dad play and sing on his guitar. Memories that all come flooding back when ever we get together and share a drink and good conversations.

It’s a wonderful tipple for the end of a long night.

I just bought a compact wine & alcohol display cabinet and this lovely bottle of Westernport Whiskey will sit nicely in it and it’ll be sipping amongst my special friends at the Christmas table.

I am a big fan of fortified wines and muscat and I love whisky too. I would be super keen to taste this muscat cask delight and share it with my nearest and dearest. The tasking notes sound amazing and right up my alley.

All households should have a superb whiskey for ‘medicinal’ purposes whether in a hot toddy for colds and flu or for shock and traumatic events or just to enjoy on a pleasant evening and savour

A whiskey is a must have on my spirits shelf as it\’s my favourite drink to sip on after a long day!

The bottle is beautiful, alluring and eye catching, and the whisky itself sounds divine.

It’s a fairly universal drink that you can have on its own, with Coke, Dry or even my favourite lemonade. Nothing says class like a scotch on the rocks

With the process of being in the cask The layers of oak Carmel and vanilla with that faint hint of salt my taste buds are exploding perfect for sharing a glass with friends with a nice dinner

The muscat cask which adds some beautiful sweetness and less smoke. I love my whisky with a port or muscat cask as I think it goes down beautifully and gives such a warm mouth feel.

Because not every girl loves whiskey…but I do this would be a merry Christmas present to myself

Love a good whiskey and love trying new whiskeys.. hence a “must have”..

We love all things rich and decedent and with our new pergola opening a whole new place for entertaining would love to have an Australian whiskey pride of place to share and christen the new area!
