A limited release crafted especially for the creative gin drinker, Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret Gin is a bold and unforgettable twist on classic gin. And it’s heaven for cocktails!

The gin is a nod to indulgence, poetry and extravagance. It makes the biggest release in the Hendrick’s Gin Cabinet of Curiosities collection, which includes Hendrick’s Amazonia, Hendrick’s Flora Adora, Hendrick’s Lunar, Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice and Hendrick’s Neptunia.

Backstory

Master distiller, Leslie Grace says that inspiration for the drop came from reading stories about a stone fruit eau de vie served with a little gin and a touch of rose. Back in the early 1900s, it was the sip of choice.

“I added sweet herbs to round the vibrant fruit out. It’s the first time I’ve experimented with stone fruits and I love how it adds a decadent depth of flavour, whilst maintaining a refreshing lightness,” Leslie explains.

Taste profile

Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret is a balancing act of classic juniper, sweet stone fruits and fresh cucumber notes. The cabaret of fruit flavours is rounded out with aromatic herbs for a smooth, fragrant and delectably different sip.

  • I love Hendricks Gin and have always just had it with tonic, ice, and a wedge of lime. So good and refreshing and has a very crisp flavour. I haven’t thought of trying it with other mixers until now and am eager to experiment with different mixers and juices and fruits.

  • What delicious sounding cocktail recipes! I recently won a bottle of this gin and am yet to put it to use but this may be the way to go! You cannot go past a sweet fresh and herbal cocktail in the summertime. This would be an easy way to make use of the many gifted sparkling wines I normally receive this time of year too 🙂

  • Will Have to give this one a try

  • Hubby just got given a bottle of Hendricks in his Christmas bonus basket this year. I wasn’t sure how to serve it. We tried it on ice, which I didn’t mind and I am going to try the recipes above and choose one as a Christmas lunch cocktail. Can’t wait to try it.

  • Hendricks IS and will ALWAYS be my favourite Gin! The look of the bottle and its flavour profile has completely sold me on the fact that i NEED this Gin!

  • Well this looks quite flash and fancy and I want one!!! It looks delicious and perfect for those summer cocktails. I like to add orange, lemon or lime to my cocktails when i make them. I never thought to add cucumber before. I might have to give this a try this summer.

  • Adding cherries and berries sounds like a great idea. I have added frozen blueberries to my drinks but hadn’t thought of cherries and they would look so festive.

  • Hendricks is one of my favourite gin brands and I’m definitely interested in trying this Grand Caberet with it’s added notes of stone fruits and cucumber. Sounds delicious.

  • Okay this looks fancy as hell and I am definitely purchasing

  • The Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret French 75 Cocktail is definitely the one I want to try.

  • Oh i love the look of this bottle alone! The cocktail recipes sound delicious with this bottle. Very easy to make and one that i can see being so easy when hosting or socialising! The taste profile on this is definitely up my alley and one id be keen to try!

  • I normally just pair gin with prosecco, but these recipes sound lovely and easy to try. I’m going to try adding some cranberry juice, lime and an orange peel garnish to our drinks this Christmas and see how it goes.

  • This sounds really interesting and some of recipes are very tempting indeed. I’d especially love to try the Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret Royale Cocktail. The mix of Lime & Cranberry juice sound’s really different – to me at least. Gin is a great drink to have on hot summer days so I’ll be checking these out.

  • I absolutely love Hendrick’s Gin. It has such a lovely taste and makes for a wonderful cocktail base. The Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret French 75 Cocktail looks incredible, and I just happen to have some champagne I’ve been holding on to so maybe I’ll have to splash out a little this weekend.

  • Hendricks – yum! my favourite way to sip is with Indian tonic water or elderflower tonic and fruit filled ice cubes. When we buy grapes, cherries, strawberries etc I always put a few aside to freeze in ice cube containers. They look so pretty when added to the glass adding a splash of colour and flavour.

  • I’m really looking forward to making so many cocktails at Christmas for my family that are coming into town! Hendricks Grand Cabaret Gin looks and sounds so festive and I’ll definitely be adding to my drinks collection.
