Bar-quality tequila cocktails have arrived in time for the silly season, and they’re small enough to fit in your pocket!

If you thought the release of Tequila Coconut was exciting, hold onto your sombrero. El Toro has just dropped its small but mighty limited-edition Pocket Cocktail range, just in time for a season of beach days and barbecues.

Cocktail fun made simple

Designed for easy, portable and fuss-free mixing, each single-serve kit pairs El Toro Blanco Tequila with premium ingredients for a perfectly balanced serve. No jiggers or strainers required (but garnishes are always welcome!).

“There’s always excitement around gifting season. Usually, it’s a standard bottle of spirits bundled in a festive box next to a cheap cocktail shaker. We wanted to do something that stood out – something fun, cheeky, and that actually solves a problem: what do you buy a coworker you’ve only spoken to twice for a $15 Kris Kringle?”

Meet the minis

El Toro’s Pocket Cocktail range features two all-time greats, both done right:

  • The Emergency Margarita – El Toro Blanco Tequila meets Cawsey’s Margarita Mix for an instant, refreshing pick-me-up. Just shake with ice and you’re good to go.
  • The Pocket Paloma – a mix of El Toro Blanco Tequila and Bickford’s Grapefruit Cordial for the perfect balance of citrus and sweetness. Simply pop, pour, top with soda and enjoy one of the easiest, most refreshing Palomas you’ll ever make.

“We wanted to make it as simple as possible for people to make a great drink. If you don’t have a cocktail shaker for your Emergency Marg, grab some ice and an old mason jar or protein shaker – you’re set.”

Small size, big flavour

Don’t be fooled by the fun-sized packaging – these cocktails are the real deal. Each drink uses premium ingredients for a smooth, balanced finish that proves convenience doesn’t have to mean compromise.

El Toro Pocket Cocktails are perfect for that cheeky Kris Kringle, a picnic companion, or a Friday afternoon wind-down with friends. They’re playful, practical and perfect for anyone who loves good drinks without the fuss.

“These products are a bit of fun, but we take the drinks seriously. Follow the steps and you’ll have a bar-quality cocktail every time. At the end of the day, Pocket Cocktails are about breaking convention – proving you can have a serious drink without all the kit.”

  • Well what a fun idea and I could definitely agree with these being a great Chris Kringle gift. Everyone likes to try something new and this would add a little fun to any party. They also sound simple to use so we can’t go wrong there. Bring on the Xmas party.

  • I went past Dans today and finally saw these on display amongst the christmas gift ideas section!! Being able to finally see it close up and can confirm it’s just as amazing as it looks in the images. I was so excited and got one to try myself! They would absolutely be perfect gifts.

  • These are seriously cute! Who would’ve thought? A pocket rocket fuelled burst of alcohol in a tube. I’m excited! I’d love to try The Pocket Paloma for a zesty, refreshing, vibrant and crisp taste sensation. These Pocket Cocktails would be great for the beach, stashing in your handbag for parties or get-together. Great new concept!

  • How awesome is this idea! Why hasn’t it been thought of earlier. I will be putting these into my Christmas hampers. Not everyone loves wine, in fact, a lot of people are quite particular about the wines they drink so this is a great add on to a gift set. I’m all for it!

  • How seriously cute are these? What a shame they are only around for a limited time! These are such a great secret Santa gift or the like. I think I would have to try them all because there’s no choosing between these cuties! I must admit though… emergency margarita sounds funny

  • Ohhh these are such a cool idea and so fun! What a great gift idea or stocking stuffer! A good price too at just $15 each so these would be good for Adult Secret Santa or when added to a gift hamper or themed pack. ThePocket Paloma sound absolutely delish! **drool**

  • These are adorable! I absolutely love the idea. They will make a great stocking stuffer. The Kris Kringle idea gave me a chuckle, it would make a great Chrissy gift for anyone. I always enjoy a marg, so I’d love to try The Emergency Margarita. The price is really reasonable, I’ll be picking one up to try

  • What an awesome idea! Perfect for this time of the year with the festive season about to start.

  • These sound fantastic! I love a pre-mixed cocktail, but sometimes they can be too sweet or just not quite the right flavour. I like that the Paloma needs the addition of soda to the base mix too. Maybe not as easy to drink straight from the can/bottle, but certainly a fresher flavour.
I’ll definitely be looking out for these on my next trip to Dan’s.

  • I love the idea of these but they have made them simply too expensive to make them worthwhile. $15 is what you used to spend for a cocktail in any bar. Occasionally, you still can find them for that price and they come out in a glass ready to drink with no fuss. I would be excited if they made these a bit cheaper – at least $10ea.

  • Yes! Something different and fun and right around the festive season too.

  • Be right back – running to my local Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores to see if they have them. These look like alot of fun, I can’t wait to try them. Also, take them to my end of year parties to share with everyone

  • Oh these look super fun! I agree, i dont like the look of the traditional boxed cocktail gift sets. They look so outdated now as it’s been done again and again each year. These bring something different, fun and adds to that element of surprise and mystery, opening up the packaging.

  • Oh my god !!!! I need these now !! I will be definitely adding these to my cart next time I’m at Dan Murphy’s. I will also be adding these to the family Kris Kringle Christmas presents!!! The emergency margarita will be top of my list to try first !!! I will have to keep an eye out for them
