    I am typically not a big fan of zero sugar options but I love that the Hurricane Head Alcoholic zero sugar ginger beer doesn’t have any unpleasant chemical sugar taste. I wouldn’t have known it was a zero sugar option. The ginger is regressing and zingy without being too much. Perfect for a hot summer’s day!

  • The Ginger Beer That Earned a Spot in the Eskie

    I’m usually a cider bloke, but this Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer has a nice crisp kick, bit of ginger warmth without blowing your head off. It goes down smooth over ice with a slice of lime. Perfect for a BBQ arvo when you’re holding the tongs but haven’t actually cooked anything yet.

  • Sugar free and made using 100% Queensland ginger 🫚

    I tried a 6-pack of Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer and I’ve already purchased another pack! They’re crisp and are a great thirst quencher. They have the perfect kick of Ginger and I love the taste! They are amazing ice cold and go down a treat on a hot day. I love that these are sugar free yet still have a wonderful sweetness so I don’t feel guilty drinking them and I just love that they’re made using 100% Queensland ginger.

  • Refreshing - but best thing is the low sugar!

    I love ginger beer and ginger ales but I’ve always been a bit cautious about the sugar content in them so only drink in moderation – this is a great solution to that problem! It’s so refreshing – especially in a glass with ice. Whilst the ginger kick isn’t as strong as some other ginger beer, and the sweetness isn’t as sweet, it makes it easier to drink. I’ll definitely be recommending to others and continuing to drink over summer!

  • Quench the thirst

    It was 30 degrees in Western Sydney today. Finished washing my car and had the chance to sit down for a few minutes for lunch. Hurricane Head Ginger Beer with 4% alcohol was the perfect drink to quench my thirst. It was mildly sweet, slightly spicy and had a gingery flavour that wasn’t overpowering. It had a good amount of fizz without being too gassy either, This drink really hit the spot! With zero sugar, it’s a drink I can feel good about. Repurchase? Yes indeed!

  • My new Summer drink

    This Ginger Beer drink from Hurricane Head is totally guilt free with zero sugar but still with a good strength alcohol content of 4%.. Not as strong in ginger flavour as I expected but still very refreshing, bold, crisp, smooth and has a good bite to it. If you’re wanting a drink with oomph, ginger certainly packs a punch! Perfect for Summer! Repurchase? Absolutely!

    I’ve definitely got my favourite alcoholic ginger beer … well I thought I did until I tried Hurricane Head! Nice amount of ginger that cuts any sweetness. Makes it really refreshing.     The drink had a great balance between fizziness, bitterness and crisp. It was just sweet enough for myself and hubby, who usually prefers normal beer over ginger beer. We loved that the drink was sugar-free! It goes well with pretzels and nuts for a great relaxing afternoon by the beach.

  • Delicious and smooth

    I was expecting this to have that bitterness and bite that other ginger beers have but it was actually smooth and sweet, perhaps I would even say fruity. The bubbles weren’t overpowering either. This would be great to have a barbie with mates or a refreshing drink after a hard day!

    There are not overly a lot of sugar free Ginger Beers on the market so I was eager to try the Zero Sugar Ginger Beer from Hurricane Head. Surprisingly, the flavour was still great despite being sugar free and stayed true to the Ginger Beer crisp and refreshing taste. I have already and will continue to purchase this product again!

  • Lovely mild flavour

    It was a little hard to find in store (check the fridges, not the shelf) but is a refreshingly mild ginger beer. If you aren’t a ginger fanatic, you will likely enjoy this one! I myself love a strong flavour, so was a little disappointed, but I could easily finish this way too fast on a hot day!

  • Smooth and Sweet

    I finally tried this last night and I was not disappointed! On first sips, I noted a very real ginger flavour (not fake tasting) which I realised was due to it containing real ginger juice! The sweetener used to make it zero sugar does give it a little bit of an aftertaste, but I am totally ok with it, being a regular no sugar beverage drinker. I found the bubbles to be quite smooth, however after drinking a couple, It did make me quite bloated.

    I was so excited to try this Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! It is crisp and refreshing with a satisfying kick of ginger that leaves you with the perfect flavour in your mouth. The fact that it is zero sugar as well and still packs all the same qualities as any regular ginger beer is a bonus! Would 100% recommend this drink to a ginger beer drinker!

    This ginger beer is amazing, it is crisp, thrust quenching and so easy to drink it is actually rather deadly! You are unable to taste or tell it is zero sugar because how quickly you can smash it down, the taste is not overpowering and the ginger does not burn your throat like some other ginger beers do, it is rather light and easy on the pallet.

  • Refreshing end to a big day

    I’m a big ginger beer fan and this one did not disappoint.
    Sometimes the sweetness can over power, but this one was so subtle and easy to drink. Very moreish and hard to stop at one!
    It’s smooth and crisp. Nice with some lime thrown in too.
    The only downside was the ginger flavour was a bit too subtle, I’d prefer a bit more of a flavour kick!

    Really enjoyed the ginger beer flavour they had. Being 0 sugar I could only drink a couple of them at a time. They are nice and spicy and not sweet at all but I think I would prefer them with sugar or low sugar for flavour profile. Gave me a little gas after drinking also.

    It’s very refreshing and no where near as sweet as some ginger beers can be – you can actually taste the ginger but it’s not overpowering. Goes down very easily, especially on a hot day. Could use a few more bubbles, though. But it doesn’t last long enough to go flat!

    What a refreshing drink to have now that the weather has warmed up!
    The zero sugar does not change the taste too much compared to the original which doesn’t make me feel guilty when I drink a few! I love the taste the taste of ginger which gives it a real kick but also not too sweet! A bit on the expensive side for a 6 pack but treat yourself once in a while!

  • Really easy to drink, love the no sugar option

    Hurricane head zero sugar ginger beer can be found easily amongst the other brand of ginger beer in Dan Murphy’s. I love that it comes in a 6 pack; 2 more then most other brands. The crack of the can means the contents will be good, it was fizzy and bubbly and delicious. The rich taste of the ginger really hits the back of your throat and sends a shiver up your spine. The taste sensation of this drink without the sugar makes it a nice change, it doesnt change the taste of the drink (yes ive tried the sugared one also) and makes it a smooth refreshing drink to have on a hot night. It lost half a star because the price of the 6 pack is a little more then id like to pay on a regular basis.

    Such a great refreshing ginger beer for warmer days and late summer nights. Not a super strong ginger taste which is what I normally go for but very easy to drink, refreshing and not sickly sweet. The zero sugar does not affect the taste at all! Can’t wait to have more!

    The ginger beer flavour really popped out and nobody could tell that it was zero sugar. Sharing this with friends was a great time and I would recommend this drink as a great way to share a story and have a fun time with! I would get it again and might try the full sugar version to see if there is a difference.

  • Quite refreshing

    I’ve recently tried the hurricane head zero sugar ginger beer in which I found quite refreshing. It was a nice drink to start with in which I had 2 drinks before moving to another drink. I liked the drink but being a ginger beer it can be a bit overpowering to have more than a couple of drinks. I would recommend it as it’s a great starter drink.

    I really enjoyed the Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer! 28 degrees, sitting on my deck with an ice cold can of this one really went down a treat. The crisp, ginger flavour was just right and it’s loved that it’s a no-sugar bevvie. I had it on it’s own but it would go really well with food, especially a barbecue. This would be great to take to an event, I think it would be one of the most popular drinks.

    Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer has a great ginger taste, and with zero sugar options, it doesn’t taste different, yet there’s no shame in drinking it while on a diet. My partner said they tasted a vanilla flavour and it is very crisp. It tastes good when stored in the fridge!

  • Great flavour

    This no sugar ginger beer is a real winner. Great taste, easy to drink and very refreshing, especially coming into those hotter days where you need something to help you cool off. All adults really enjoyed trying this ginger been. This will definitely be a regular drink in our household for all adults to enjoy.

    My husband and I quite enjoyed the zero sugar GBs from Hurricane Head. We’ve tried other zero sugar GBs and this one is far better. Not too much of a watered down taste, still with a nice sweetness taste. But sugar free!

    I really like an alcoholic ginger beer. This was, as the title suggests, very smooth and refreshing, especially with the addition of some ice. I would prefer a slightly stronger ginger flavour to it as it is a little bit mellow but it is a pleasant drink. I also liked that it is sugar free as the standard ones can often be too sugary.

  • Surprisingly my new fav drink

    It was so easy to drink, and I was expecting this to be bitter and overly strong in alcohol. It was not. You could taste the alcohol but it was quite subtle.
    It wasn’t sweet or have that fake sweeter added flavour. Had a real ginger beer flavour which was refreshing on the palate.

  • Hurricane Zero Sugar

    I really like ginger beer and have tried alcoholic ginger beer drinks before. I was excited to try these hurricane sugar free drinks, was expecting it not to have much flavour due to zero sugar but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Very tasty and delicious you can really taste the ginger bear. Will get these again.

  • Very refreshing and zesty

    My husband said that he was well surprised how great this ginger beer is! If he was walking in the shop before he probably would not think of buying it, but after tasting it, he is speechless! It’s very zesty and very refreshing, he recommends to drink it cold straight from the fridge.

  • zero sugar

    Hurricane Head Zero Sugar Ginger Beer has a very nice ginger beer taste with a bit of zestiness in it. I especially love how it is in a zero sugar version, yet still keeps the flavour in perfectly! There is no guilt in drinking it while losing weight! How lovely!
