Got a soft spot for single malt? LARK has just dropped four new luxury whisky expressions, and you’ll want to try every one.

The new LARK Signature Portfolio leans into everything the Tassie distillery is known and loved for: bold flavour, richness and a smooth, layered complexity with an elevated edge.

The new expressions include:

  • Fire Trail ($170) – A bold yet approachable single malt, blending citrus and baked fruit with Port and Sherry cask richness and applewood smoked water.
  • Devil’s Storm ($200) – A flavour-packed single malt of scorched red fruit, almond fudge and chocolate, with a long, warming finish.
  • Ruby Abyss ($400) – Decadent single malt aged in vintage Port and Sherry casks, layered with dark fruit, caramelised sugar and mocha, with a sweet brandy snap finish.
  • Cinder Forest (Available from May, $160)

Each drop is inspired by Tasmania’s wild landscape, from smoky intensity to deeper, richer profiles. It’s very much a “born of place” approach, which sits at the heart of what LARK does.

A new look to match what’s inside

Alongside the new whiskies, LARK has also had a full design refresh, which goes beyond a label update.

The bottles have been reimagined into a sleek 700ml format, with a sculptural shape inspired by the skylark bird in flight. There’s also a strong nod to Tasmania throughout the design, with native flora woven into the artwork.

And it’s already winning awards

In a nice bit of timing, the new look LARK bottles have already taken out World’s Best Design and Best Range Design at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.

“This is a magnificent award and great recognition for our whole team, particularly for the crew in marketing. I think it’s fair to say that the packaging of the new whiskies now matches the incredible quality of what’s on the inside. Someone said you should always dress for the role you want and we want to be recognised as one of the great whiskies in the world, and we can now confidently say we are well dressed for the role! To win this award on the actual day we launch the new signature series is some sort of incredible symmetry.”

Stuart Gregor, LARK Distillery Managing Director & CEO

You can shop the first three expressions via LARK Distillery right now, with Cinder Forest available from May 2026. Other LARK whisky varieties are also available at Dan Murphy’s.

  • Well done to the Lark team on creating award winning single malt whiskey as well as the beautifully designed bottles. I like the skylark inspiration as well as the Tassie references.

  • I am wanting to buy a nice brandy for the winter months, but now that I have read this article I may just have to try a LARK whiskey instead. I hope these four varieties come in 50ml sample sizes so I can try them to see which one I prefer.

  • Oh wow, these are some impressive looking sips. I know of a few guys who would love to have a generous pour of these to indulge in. I love the design and look of the bottles, so elegant and interesting that you just want to know what’s inside. Definitely a goal kick from the marketing team

  • This is a stunning and beautiful redesign! The native flora details and the inspiration behind the shape feel distinctly Australian and really well thought through. It’s no surprise it’s already winning awards. I’d definitely consider it as a gift and it sounds like a beautiful whisky to enjoy on special occasions.

  • LARK would make a beautiful kind of gift. It looks and feels luxurious and indulgent, something you don’t usually buy for yourself but would make a memorable gift for someone special. It says you’ve taken time to choose something meaningful, not just another ordinary brand name whisky. I’d gift this to my dad for a unique flavour taste sensation that I doubt he’s ever tried before.
