    Too delicious!

    True to its labelling, the Old Fat Unicorn Moscato musk spritzer was light and refreshing with the perfect amount of effervescence and no bitter or unpleasant aftertaste. Smooth and crisp, with a hint of cider like flavour, it was definitely easy to drink. At 150cal per 300ml bottle, and 4.1% it’s a good balance for when you want a nice sweet dessert wine to finish off (or continue with) a lovely meal.

    Nailed the flavour

    I love these convenient glass bottles, they really nailed the prosecco flavour! I couldn’t really taste the apple but is super freshing and tasty! If you like prosecco you will definitely enjoy these! These are perfect for any occasion, especially a picnic or a bbq or anywhere you don’t want to carry a wine glass and a must try!

    Moscato lovers this is for you

    I really enjoyed this, I’ve been a big fan of moscato for a long time so I really like the sweet taste, it’s light and crisp in flavour and the apple taste isn’t overpowering! I love that I could take a 4 pack to a BBQ and not have to ask for a wine glass! It’s been super hot here so this has been refreshing! If you like a sweet wine flavour this is for you!

    Fresh and light

    I absolutely loved this moscato! It wasn’t too sweet but just enough to enjoy. It was light and fresh, a great drink for Summer. It doesn’t feel light a heavy drink and my stomach usually aches after drinking alcohol and this one didn’t affect me. It was the perfect size to take to a BYO restaurant. I highly recommend the moscato!

    Mmmmmmmmmm, so yum!

    I really enjoyed this, absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of spritz and it was sweet but not overpowering. Though I couldn’t taste the musk as such, the flavour was still spot on and I very much enjoyed it sitting on the deck in the sun. It tastes very similar to Brown Brothers moscato if a comparison was to be made. Highly recommend.

    Handy size light flavour

    The bottle design is lovely and convenient. The taste is mild and refreshing. The hint of musk or really subtle. I normally drink moscato , haven’t had a spritzer before, it has a more delicate taste and a lot lighter than usual moscato . It’s good for a lighter beverage with a meal

    Delicious! Not too sweet

    I am a big moscato drinker so know a bit about good and bad moscato and this one was delicious! The musk flavour was spot on and not too sweet. The aftertaste lingered also which I like. It would be perfect for a summers day by the pool with a cheese board and meat platter!

    Moscato Spritz

    Tasted a bit dry upon first sip and then I had some more and it was quite tasty. Sweet but not too sweet which was perfect the way I like it. It was really nice and refreshing when chilled. The bottles have just the right amount to have with dinner or just to have a relaxing wine. Would I buy these again I most likely would especially when it’s at members price for $12.

    Lovely, crisp drink

    This is a nice, easy drink – even for those not huge on Moscato. The packaging starts the journey, with a nice shaped bottle and fun labels. The flavours are there, the sweetness of the Moscato and then the musk that comes with the after-taste ensuring the journey from lips to stomach is a fun one! Musk isn’t overpowering which makes this the perfect drink for those hot days! 4 pack of bottles decently priced and well packaged. Sugar is quite high per serve, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from something Moscato based. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a light, refreshing drink which you can enjoy over a glass of ice, or straight from the bottle.

    Goes Alright. I Don't Know If It's Placebo But It's kind of Lemony

    I got the 4-pack of the Moscato Spritzer Musk and I am pleasantly surprised with how it is. Personally I drink moscato in phases. I’ll drink a glass every couple months or a whole bottle in 2 days. I was not expecting much from a moscato spritz premix but it pleasantly surprised me. It comes in these dinky little potion bottles which I find very charming with a rhino on the front which is a bit hipster but it’s wine so it’s fine I guess. I Have no clue what musk is other than someone’s stink which I assume this is not flavoured after but I find it pretty pleasant. Tastes a bit like a splash of moscato with some lemon cordial and soda water. I find the moscato flavour a bit weak for my tastes but it makes it easier to drink a ton I suppose so that’s not a knock against it just an observation. It’s also only one standard per little potion stubby which is nice. Oddly enough for something with Moscato in it I find it quite refreshing. Yeah it’s pretty good ay, a pleasant surprise for something my expectations where through the floor for.

    I’ve not heard of this brand before, the packaging is pretty cool with a picture of a rhino not a unicorn though which is a bit confusing. The combination of prosecco and apple is a bit unusual however the taste is more prosecco than apple. One bottle is worth 4% alcohol which is pretty decent.

    Vibrant, fresh, tantalising

    Love the quirky name “Old Fat Unicorn”. The Crisp Apple flavour is a refreshing twist. Comes in a 300ml glass bottle. It’s always nice to drink from the bottle when ice cold. With 4.1% alcohol, it’s a good strength which gives it a kick but not being overpowering or too strong. It’s a light, vibrant and mildly bubbly drink that is great for afternoons when you just want to relax. I could see myself taking a 4-pack to parties, bbq’s, girlfriend catch-ups at their house or just drink by myself when I feel like a treat. Produced in SA which is fab! The best part, each 300ml bottle has only 95 calories so it doesn’t weigh you down or bloat you unlike some other alcoholic drinks. With Prosecco Spritzer Crisp Apple, I have found my perfect match! Recommended!

    Not great

    I tried the Musk Moscato spritzer. I wasn’t impressed with this drink at all. Seemed very watered down and not much of a taste. Not very sweet either. I did like the bottle size as it fit my stubby holder perfectly. They aren’t very cheap to buy either. If you like spritzer you may like them.

    Refreshing neutral taste

    This is a refreshing and pleasant drink. Trying hard to detect the apple, it’s there but it’s quite subtle. So I would say this is quite a neutral drink. I think this would go well to balance out food with strong flavours, having said that, it’s nice all on its own. Cool bottle and label!

    Sweet and fresh!!

    These apple spritzers are so good.. nice and sweet but not too sweet. So refreshing, perfect for a hot day relaxing by the pool. I would definitely buy again. I don’t really like drinking out of the bottle but I added a bit of ice to the glass and so nice. Definitely worth a try!!

    I love a moscato and the Ol Fat Uniforn Spritzer is the perfect drink for me! I had it with woodfired pizzas last night and looking forward to bringing it along with me to the next girls afternoon catch with with cheese & crackers!

    Very refreshing- musk flavour mild but tasty. I was worried the musk would be overpowering not the case at all. It was crispy, fresh, and delicious. However I did read the ingredients and it contains milk and eggs which I found odd, and unexpected.

    Soda water tropicana

    I liked it, not overpowering, gentle on the palate. It reminded me of Tropicana but a very soda-watered down version. It is the first time I have tried a spritzer and I am ok with my first time trial. I would give the other flavours a go too next time.

    Refreshing!

    Super refreshing with a nice, subtle taste – perfect for a relaxed afternoon in the sun. The portion control is a great feature, making it an easy, grab-and-go drink. The flavor is light, not overpowering at all. It’s not my standard go-to drink, but I’d definitely pick it up again.

  • Musk Moscato Spritzer 4 pack Review

    Easy quick afternoon drink

    Great that it’s “portion” controlled, makes it easy for a quick drink.
    Musk flavour hardly noticeable.
    Would buy again.
    I was lucky to be able to try both flavours due to the Price.
    Apple flavour stronger in the Prosecco than the Musk in the Moscato.
