My friends and I tried this OVATA Chardonnay Pinot Noir by Oakridge for the first time over the weekend. We were all pleasantly surprised by how fruity it tasted without being too sweet. I am normally a Sauvignon Blanc drinker, but I think this will be added to the rotation for something different. The OVATA Chardonnay Pinot Noir is excellent value for money and perfect for any occasion.

I loved the Ovata Chardonnay. I love the light flavours and hint of apple and citrus that pops in your mouth like a burst of yum! I shared a glass with my friend who also loved the light refreshing taste. Ovata means rejoice and celebrate which we definitely did.

Great bubbly drink! Not as sweet as I thought it would be, very fruit almost apple flavoured! Pricing isn’t too bad and it has beautiful packaging-would be a great gift idea. Yarra valley you have done it again! Overall I personally wouldn’t buy again for myself but my sister in law and brother tried it too and they really liked it.

A beautiful bubbly – great for drinking on it’s own, or putting in Mimosa’s, which is where my first bottle went! Had to get a second bottle! Colouring is quite light. Taste is refreshing and quite strong. Fruity with definite hints of apple. Good on the pricing side, and the bottle is pretty making it good for gifting too. Good work Yarra Valley on another beautiful wine!

Really nice to drink. Was expecting this to be pinkish given the blend, but presents like a usual sparkling. Less sweet than imagined, almost slightly savoury in a present way. It’s Well priced and would consider buying again, worth a shot if up are looking for something a little different!

The Ovata Chardonnay Pinot Noir was so fresh, crisp and easy to drink. It had an aroma of stone fruits with a hint of honey. It had a clean and refreshing finish, and, in my opinion is the perfect bottle of wine for a Sunday afternoon with friends. The Ovata Sparkling wine will be a staple in my wine fridge from now on.

I found this was a bit strong and acidic. I wasn’t able to drink more than one glass. It was refreshing and fruity but it’s not the sort of thing I could drink much of.

Was not a fan of this one. Was a bit on the sour side and not something I would drink or recommend. I felt it was a little overpriced and the cork made it hard to open. If you are a regular drinker of this type of wine you would probably enjoy it.

Nothing like a glass of Ovata Sparkling Wine to end the weekend! Nice and refreshing. It was bubbly. One glass was enough for me I don’t think I could have more than that.

On initial opening the smell was very strong, poured a glass and the colour was quite light and looked great, initial taste was very fruity. First glass went down nicely however the next glass I found the taste a little too strong and the bubbles not quite enough. Would go great as a mimosa but not for me on it’s own.

Fresh fruity and sparkling.A definite hit for me and my hubby including our friends with whom we shared this bubbly. Definitely a must have on hot sticky afternoon.

This bubbly has a great taste-light and refreshing, with a great blend of two great wines, the perfect amount of bubbles, and a great fizz to have with dinner and when celebrating. I would buy it again and would be happy to give it to a friend for a celebration. Good price, for great quality.

Really enjoyed this bottle. Had me wanting more. Drank this to celebrate the birth of my niece and it went down a treat! You can taste the delicate apple notes and one that can be drank at any occasion (even on a Sunday night whilst cooking dinner which is what I did for my second bottle 🤪)

I purchased this sparkling wine last week and my family and I cracked it open last night and enjoyed it as a pre-dinner drink. A very enjoyable drop with lots of bubbles, light fruity notes, and a crisp finish. I will be buying this again, especially for get-togethers and celebrations.

I tried Ovata for the first time today and
I would highly recommend this wine. It has a nice, fresh taste. Love that the Yarra Valley has produced such an excellent wine.
