    A real winner

    This wine tasted absolutely delicious, it was very easy to drink with a fresh, crisp flavour. There was not a strong lemon taste it really complemented the wine. I would recommend for entertaining with friends or even just having a glass at home. My husband really enjoyed it as well.

    Summer in a glass!

    I was pleasantly surprised by this rose! I wasn’t sure about the grapefruit flavour but after trying it think the grapefruit works perfectly with the rose! It’s light, crisp and refreshing and the perfect drink for a hot summers day! It’s very easy to drink and I’d definitely buy it again.

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris Review

    Fresh and easy to drink!

    I recently tried the Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris, and while I normally drink red wine, I really enjoyed this! It is smooth, fresh and a subtle lemon flavour which makes it crisp and refreshing; perfect to pair with dinner or snacks, or in my case, at the end of the day when my son went to bed as my wind down treat! Would purchase again , and i recommend popping in the fridge for that cool fresh taste!

    Really lovely light Sav Blanc

    Honestly it was a really great wine. I was expecting a little tartness due to the lemon flavour. However it really surprised me. The lemon adds a rounded flavour to the normal harshness of Sauvignon Blanc. It doesn’t have a harsh aftertaste and it was very delightful. Overall great wine that I will be repurchasing myself.

The only slightly negative thing I found was the cap didn’t want to go back on the bottle. Unfortunately meant we had to polish the bottle off ;-P. This drop is a refreshing option for anyone who enjoys citrus-inspired drinks and is looking for something a little different on the wine front.

    Unexpectedly good

    I generally don’t like lemon flavoured things (but I do love lemon) so I was a bit sceptical about this one at first.. but it totally took me by surprise! It’s got the fresh zesty flavour without a fake lemon taste. I really enjoyed it!

    An impressive rosé!

    Light and fruity. Fresh and crisp with a subtle sweetness. This rosé has a beautiful balance of flavour between grapefruit and strawberry. Easy to drink, refreshing and not too dry. I will definitely be purchasing regularly this again in the future!

    Too Lemony

    This would be a very refreshing summer wine with it’s aromatic lemon flavour, but in winter it’s just not the same. The lemon flavour is just too strong in the first few sips, but it certainly tastes better the more you drink of it! This wine reminds me of humid summer days in a lush plant filled beer garden.

    Loght sweet and delicious!

    The Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris is a light, easy to drink wine. It’s sweet in flavour and thicker in texture. It’s seriously delicious and priced very reasonably. I shared it with friends over dinner as it is an easy social drinking wine. I would definitely buy this wine again.

    Refreshing flavour

    Grapefruit was an interesting flavour I had never tried in a wine. It was a subtle flavour but enhanced the Rose. I enjoyed the wine with a nice grazing platter with my husband and I think it would be perfect for a summer bbq!

  • Lobster Reef Grapefruit Rose Review

    Came for the grapefruit stayed for the wine

    I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a grapefruit rosé, but this ended up being a really enjoyable bottle. My girlfriend and I shared it over the weekend and both found ourselves reaching for another glass.

    The grapefruit is definitely present, but it complements the rosé rather than taking over. It adds a fresh citrus lift and a little bit of bitterness that keeps things interesting, while still letting the wine come through. It’s refreshing and easy to drink without being overly sweet and it doesn’t taste artificial.

    Served well chilled, it felt perfectly suited to a warm afternoon or a casual dinner. What I liked most was that it still tasted like wine first and a flavoured wine second. I’d happily drink it again and would be interested to try some of the other wines in the Flavours range as well.

    Slightly sweet, easy drinking rosé

    This was a surprising drink. I don’t like bitter grapefruit, so was afraid that was what this wine was going to taste like… Pleasantly surprised to find this rosé was only ever so slightly sweet with a hint of sweet, ruby grapefruit. It is very easy to drink and I think it would go extremely well with some cheeses on a hot summer day. If you don’t like your white/rosé wines too dry, this is for you!

    Lobster Reef Pinot Gris Lemon

    I tried the Lobster Reef Pinot Gris Lemon flavoured and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t as dry as expected and had a nice subtle lemon flavour that didn’t overpower the Pinot Gris taste. It was the perfect drink to have with friends while having a pasta dish. Will buy again!

    Surprisingly nice!

    I think rose can have a reputation of being dry but this was nice, light and fresh. Can definitely taste the grapefruit and was to have at a recent garden party dinner. Didn’t leave a burning sensation like some can. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely buy again if I’m entertaining

    Sweet and Fruity

    This rose has a really strong sweet ane fruity smell like lollys. If you like sweet and fruity you’ll love this, very vibrant colour. I personally find it too sweet to have with anything else but I think it would be great in Summer as a pre meal wine or even turned into frozé!

    For someone who doesn’t love rosé this was actually so good

    I normally don’t enjoy rosé but the lobster reef grapefruit rosé was actually so surprisingly good. The grapefruit notes were yummy but wasn’t overpowering. It went down quite easy and my family also enjoyed it!

    A very refreshing and easy to drink rosé wine. You can definitely taste the grapefruit in this, I also didn’t find it as sweet as other flavoured wines I have tasted previously but nonetheless it was still very tasty. It was great to crack open for a sneaky drink whilst the little ones played outside! It would be a perfect drink to pair with dinner on a summers night. Overall, I prefer a little more sweeter wines however I would definitely consider buying again.

    An enjoyable surprise

    I was expecting a wine with over-powering lemon flavour. What I tasted was a very entertaining slightly dry pinot gris with its own citrus base, but overlayed with this, was a slightly more lemon flavour.
    This added to the complexity of the wine flavour in a good way.
    We consumed this with soft tacos and the combination was divine.
    I have since returned to Dan Murphy to buy several more bottles.

    Perfectly Zesty

    As a huge white wine fan, this completely blew me away. I honestly don’t know what I was expecting and then bang you get this fresh lemon kick which gives the classic Marlborough crispness a beautiful, zesty lift.     Fantastic and refreshing

    This wine was an absolute delight. My wife and I love a Sauvignon Blanc, and wanted to try something different and this wine definitely made us want more Pinot Gris.     This wine was a beautiful accompaniment to a home cooked chicken curry dinner. I can also see this wine being enjoyed with a BBQ lunch on a hot summers day.     I was pleasantly surprised with this wine. I don’t usually go for flavour infused options but I did like this. The lemon flavour was not overpowering at all.     Lemon and pear

    I was not sure what to expect from this drink as it was my first time trying a drink from this range. Although it says lemon, It is not overpowering. It has a mix of a slight lemon and ripe pear combination. The drink has a light yellowish color. And the aftertaste was fresh and pleasant. It goes well with salads and chicken. It is really affordable too.

    The Grapefruit Rose has a strong sweet aroma. There’s a lingering sweetness and light floral flavour on first sip, which develops into more bitter and pithiness. Subtle grapefruit notes come through at the back of the palate and finishes with an almost floral after taste.
    Interesting take on a Rose, and certainly one which could be enjoyed by most wine drinkers.

    I wasn’t too sure what to expect from a lemon-flavoured Pinot Gris, but it ended up being a nice surprise. The citrus flavour is noticeable without being too strong and it gives it a fresh finish. I chilled it and found it easy to drink without being overly sweet. My only criticism is that I would have liked a little more depth in the flavour, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5. It’s definitely refreshing and something I’d happily pick up again for girls night!

    I wasn’t too sure what to expect from a lemon-flavoured Pinot Gris, but it ended up being a nice surprise. The citrus flavour is noticeable without being too strong and it gives it a fresh finish. I chilled it and found it easy to drink without being overly sweet.

    My only criticism is that I would have liked a little more depth in the flavour, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5. It’s definitely refreshing and something I’d happily pick up again for girls night!

    Insanely delicious and oh so crisp!

    Was very excited to try Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris Lemon! First sip was delicious and refreshing. Crisp notes and I could just taste the scrumptious lemon flavour. Very easy drink to wind down with at the end of a busy day. Would never have bought this and now I’m spreading the word! Will happily buy again and will add to Christmas hampers too.

    Fresh and easy to drink!

    I recently tried the Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris, and while I normally drink red wine, I really enjoyed this! It is smooth, fresh and a subtle lemon flavour which makes it crisp and refreshing; perfect to pair with dinner or snacks, or in my case, at the end of the day when my son went to bed as my wind down treat! Would purchase again , and i recommend popping in the fridge for that cool fresh taste!

    Surprisingly Smooth for a Pinot Gris

    Pinot Gris I usually find quite harsh (I am a sweet wine girly) but this one surprised me though!

    I didn’t really notice the lemon flavour, but it was light, smooth and easy to drink. It was actually enjoyable enough that I happily finished a whole glass with a roast dinner. I’ am tempted to repurchase.

    Refreshing and easy to drink!

    This was such a pleasant surprise! I’m usually a bit picky when it comes to flavoured wines because they can be way too sweet, but this one absolutely nailed it. The lemon flavour is subtle and refreshing rather than overpowering, and it blends beautifully with the mellow Pinot Gris.

    It’s crisp, easy to drink, and dangerously enjoyable – the kind of wine where you pour a glass, sit down for five minutes of peace and quiet, and suddenly realise you’ve somehow finished it! 🍋🍷

    I loved that it still tastes like a proper wine, just with a lovely hint of lemon that makes it feel extra fresh. Perfect with dinner, a cheese platter, or hiding in the laundry pretending to fold washing for a few minutes of uninterrupted relaxation. I’ll definitely be keeping a bottle (or three) in the fridge.

    Crisp lemon freshness!!

    Not something I would normally buy but will definitely buy it again!! It is a light, crisp and zesty drop… versatile to be paired with a variety of foods & meals or on its own to help refresh after a long day! The lemon taste isn’t artificial, and was actually quite enjoyable!!

    An unexpected surprise

    Had this bottle over a nice dinner and was pleasantly surprised at first sip. However, it quickly turned into a strong ethanol taste with no hints of grapefruit. I would personally not go out of my way to buy this again but if it was at a function, I would have half a glass.

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon Blanc Review

    Really lovely light Sav Blanc

    Honestly it was a really great wine. I was expecting a little tartness due to the lemon flavour. However it really surprised me. The lemon adds a rounded flavour to the normal harshness of Sauvignon Blanc. It doesn’t have a harsh aftertaste and it was very delightful. Overall great wine that I will be repurchasing myself.

    Sauv Blanc & fake lemon

    I really did not enjoy this drink. I think the lemon taste was too artificial for my liking. The drink would have been better as sauv blanc on its own.
    I had this drink chilled, and wouldn’t normally but added ice to make this really chilled and it was a bit better but not to my taste. Ensure this is very cold when drinking!

    Perfect for summer

    Perfect drink for summer and warmer weather. The taste was subtle on the lemon which was great, not too overpowering from the taste of Pinot Gris. It is on the sweet side so good for those who like the sweeter wines and taking away from the tartness of some Pinot Gris but a bit too sweet for me

  • Lobster Reef Grapefruit Rose Review

    Very easy to drink

    I’m not a big wine drinker, but this Rose was very easy to drink. I enjoyed it with ice which made it quite refreshing. The scent of the Rose is absolutely divine! The grapefruit flavour is definitely there, but also quite subtle. Very easy to find in store and the label design is simplistic, but eye catching.
