    I really enjoyed the Lobster Reef Grapefruit Rosé.
    It’s light, refreshing & easy to drink.
    The subtle grapefruit flavour adds a lovely citrus twist that makes it a little different to the average Rosé without it being too sweet or overpowering.
    It would be perfect by the pool on a hot day or entertaining with some yummy charcuterie boards.
    I’ll definitely be buying a few more bottles to have on hand for some upcoming events.

    Perfect balance after a busy week

    What a perfect blend between lemon and the traditional taste of a Sauvignon Blanc. I enjoyed the freshness and crispness of The Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon Blanc. I loved that, it wasn’t overpowering but delicate and smooth. The perfect, relaxing drink after a busy week running around to the daily grind.

    A smooth classic sauvignon blanc flavour with a lemon twist!

    The perfect entertaining wine. In the words of my husband: “wow this is so easy to drink, its so smooth”. A great intro for those not super into wine, but enjoyable for wine-lovers too! Its the perfect balance of citrusy but still that classic sauvignon blanc flavour. Definitely will be drinking this again!

    I tried the Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris and really enjoyed it. The lemon infusion adds a refreshing citrus zing that complements the Pinot Gris beautifully without overpowering it. It’s crisp, light and incredibly easy to drink.

    What I liked most was that it still maintained the characteristics of a quality Pinot Gris while offering something a little different and fun. The citrus notes made it feel fresh and vibrant, especially served chilled.

    It paired perfectly with seafood and would also be lovely with light lunches, salads or enjoyed on its own with friends. A great option if you’re looking for a refreshing wine with a unique twist. I’d happily buy it again.

    Full flavour

    A real winner

    This wine tasted absolutely delicious, it was very easy to drink with a fresh, crisp flavour. There was not a strong lemon taste it really complemented the wine. I would recommend for entertaining with friends or even just having a glass at home. My husband really enjoyed it as well.

    Summer in a glass!

    I was pleasantly surprised by this rose! I wasn’t sure about the grapefruit flavour but after trying it think the grapefruit works perfectly with the rose! It’s light, crisp and refreshing and the perfect drink for a hot summers day! It’s very easy to drink and I’d definitely buy it again.

    Fresh and easy to drink!

    I recently tried the Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris, and while I normally drink red wine, I really enjoyed this! It is smooth, fresh and a subtle lemon flavour which makes it crisp and refreshing; perfect to pair with dinner or snacks, or in my case, at the end of the day when my son went to bed as my wind down treat! Would purchase again , and i recommend popping in the fridge for that cool fresh taste!

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon Blanc Review

    Missed the Mark

    I absolutely love Lobster Reef’s standard Sauvignon Blanc so I was super excited to try the Lemon variation but unfortunately I was not overly impressed with the offering. I found the lemon flavour to be overwhelming and it seemed like more an artifical lemon flavour, rather than a squeeze of fresh lemon juice which is what I had envisaged. We had it with a spicy ramen, and it paired well enough but it wasn’t a wine that I truly loved drinking on its own.

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon Blanc Review

    Fruitier than ever expected!

    The Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon blanc is explosive with it’s promised flavours of lemon but unexpectedly harbours undertones of the tropics. A passionfruit like aroma masters the essential aftertaste making it easy to drink, and to keep drinking. I found the robustness of this white to be almost overpowering. But pairing with the right foods, like a sturdy cheddar and cranberry crackers made it’s a beautiful alteration between sweet and savoury on my palate. I could imagine it pairs well with a seafood meal also.
    I enjoyed it and recommend it to wine lovers with a preference for sweetness.

    Lemon flavour dominates the dry wine

    This wine is a good pinot gris but with added lemon flavour. It was a little to tart and dry for my usual tastes (I’m normally a sweet wine drinker). It was, however, quite refreshing and I could see it going down very well for people with drier tastes. For me, the lemon was quite overpowering, and I struggled to finish a whole glass.

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris Review

    Pleasantly surprised

    I am indeed very naive and I legitimately had NO IDEA what Pinot Gris actually was, nor what it tasted like. My husband is not usually a big wine drinker but said “crack ‘er open, I’ll give her a try,but I don’t want a full glass” So, I indeed did, crack “er open. He proceeded to take a sip and said “although, maybe I DO want a full glass!” Well. Needless to say I haven’t seen him have a sip of wine (particularly white) that surprised him, in a good way. It had a clean, crisp finish, I wouldn’t say I got much of a “lemon” taste but it certainly pairs well with meals, I’d say particularly fish. It’s a solid all round “white” to pull out I’d say. I think it would please any dry white wine drinkers. And perhaps even a few sceptics!

    Alright all-rounder

    This particular flavour of wine wasn’t my favourite but it also wasn’t too bad. It was quite a dry rose but the grapefruit flavour didn’t shine through much at all. Overall it is a fine wine. The bottle is pretty, it’s reasonably priced, it tastes alright but I think I’d just stick to their regular rose rather than the grapefruit flavoured one

    Very sweet

    This was a little too sweet for me, but I ended up adding some ice and soda water and it became a very refreshing spritz. I would drink it as a spritz again but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again. I can’t say I’d drink it on its own and I would also struggle to find a friend or family member that would enjoy it on its own too.

    I was interested to try this wine as I love a Marlborough Sav but wasn’t sure how the lemon would pair with it.     Delicious wine with a hint of lemon

    Had the pleasure of testing Lobster Reef, Lemon Pinot Gris.     This bottle of Lobster Reef Grapefruit Rose is absolutely refreshing and an easy-to-sip wine. It has hints of citrus and strawberry. It is a gorgeous color and pairs amazingly with a cheese platter.

  • Lobster Reef Lemon Sauvignon Blanc Review

    Perfect with friends

    I recently got the opportunity to try the Lobster Reef Lemon wine and it was absolutely delicious. I shared it with a girlfriend of mine and we nearly finished the whole bottle.
    I typically prefer red wine over white, but the subtle lemon zest was the perfect complement and a whole new experience for me. I would 100% pick this wine up again to share with friends.

    I have yet to try the grapefruit or the Pino, but they are definitely on my list. I really enjoyed the hint of lemon, and I felt it was slightly sweeter but not Moscato sweet. I’m no wine connoisseur and usually pick wines at random, so it’s nice to have found one that I know I enjoy.

    So delish

    I’m a sweet rose drinker so when I saw this one was less dry on the taste, I was very keen to try (and curious about the wine brand name). First impressions are refreshing, fruity and bright with fragrant linger of grapefruit. It’s not sweet but it’s definitely easy drinking. Great both room temp and cold/with ice.

    I found this rose to be nice and refreshing. It’s a lovely colour and is easy to drink. I was a little disappointed that the grapefruit flavour wasn’t very strong – it would’ve been even better with more of the citrusy flavours evident. Overall a great find, refreshing and goes down well.

    Love the Grapefruit flavour

    I was really intrigued when I saw the opportunity to review a Rosé with grapefruit flavour. I took it along to a dinner party with some wine enthusiasts to get their take on it as well. Overall it got great feedback, we enjoyed the grapefruit undertones as it provided a bitterness that was appreciated by the non-rosé drinkers. For those with a more sophisticated palette, we could taste a hint of strawberry too. It had a very smooth flavour and was very drinkable. Thoroughly enjoyed drinking this and would buy again!

    The Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris is dangerously good! It would be easy to finish the whole bottle by myself as it’s such a smooth, easy drinking wine. I enjoyed the lemon infused flavour. You will definitely need a few of these bottles if you plan on sharing them with your friends!

    As someone who initially judges a rose by it’s colour, this one was off to a great start. Quite fresh on the nose, it was a light and refreshing drop with hints of berry and a slightly zingy aftertaste. Mild flavours, nothing too strong, the kind of drink that wouldn’t be out of place around a pool on a hot summers day.

    Sweet, light and fruity

    This is an easy drink, quite sweet but not too overpowering. The grapefruit flavour is bold but not too overpowering leaving enough for your tastebuds to want more.     Lobster Reef Lemon SB

    I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this wine going in, but I ended up really enjoying it. My mum and I shared it together and we both thought the lemon flavour was a nice addition without being overpowering. I think it’s the perfect tipple for the summer months!

    This was so crispy and refreshing. I really enjoyed the lemon flavour. I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was only a hint, but enough to make the flavour pop. I will definitely repurchase this one again. Definitely worth the $18.00. Will be a great glass sin summer!

    Well that was…interesting

    I had trepidations purchasing lemon infused Pinot Gris and I’m sorry to say my initial hesitation was warranted. It has a bit of an unexpected taste to it – not quite lemon, not quite wine. Perhaps it would be better if you made it into a spritzer or cocktail? Maybe even some ice on a Summer day? Regardless, I won’t be purchasing it again.

    The flavour will blow you away. It is light and refreshing and very easy to drink.

    This wine can be enjoyed with any meal, summer or winter. I will buy again and also try the lemon Pinot gris for comparison.

    The initial sips you get a really strong lemon taste which I love. Thankfully it’s not too sweet but the right balance of flavours. It is really light and refreshing and very easy to drink. It is definitely a summer wine!. So light and crisp. I would definitely buy again although I am keen to try the other lemon Pinot Gris.

    Hooray for Lobster Reef Rosé!!

    The Lobster Reef Grapefruit Rosé was such a delight to try! Perfect when chilled and on the rocks just on its own, and even complimented alongside a cheeseboard or meal 👌🏼 the scent when you open the bottle is just divine, it honestly transported me to an island in Italy and made me feel like I was on holiday! And the taste reminds me of a tropical drink, so easy to drink and so flavourful. I love a sweet wine so I will definitely be repurchasing this one! Great value for money too

    Stumps reviews Lobster Bay!

    So it was a cold night Perth and the mood was set. My father and I were relaxing at home with something neither of us had ever tried before. Lobster Bays savignaun Blanc Lemon. To be honest we weren’t sure about weather or not it would work at first, but let us tell you that after that first sip hit our lips we knew that we were on to something special. The wine first treats your senses with a clear golden gleam, crystal clear as it fills your glass, then your hit with a pleasant fruity smell which starts you salivating. These two combined with the instantly refreshing burst of flavour you get when the wine enters your palate is something which brings a smile to your face, it’s to be noted that there is a very good balance between dryness and sweetness with out an overloading of either and with out you being left feeling sick or dried out once the wines been consumed. It should be known that the citrusy zing is subtle throughout which works beautifully well and becomes more pronounced at the end which gives you a slight aftertaste which could be done without, but besides that we liked it as a whole and found it to be light and refreshing and a great winter warmer which would go perfect with sea food and shared over dinner with friends or a light summer refreshment that would be a perfect addition to an evening watching the sunset with friends. This lemony surprise rates 3.75 stars out of 5 and is another solid addition to the already strong list of wines by the Lobster Bay team from the Malborough Coast in New Zealand. We would definitely recommend giving this a go.

    Pleasant grapefruit notes, though ultimately not my favourite drink

    I was looking forward to trying the grapefruit flavour, but unfortunately it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. There was a slight grapefruit taste, which was pleasant enough, but overall I found the flavour a bit underwhelming. It wasn’t terrible, just not something I would choose to buy again.

    I actually really enjoyed the Lobster Reef Sauvignon Blanc! It was so different and not what I was expecting. So refreshing to enjoy on a hot summers day by the pool or to wind down after a long day.     A light refreshing Sav Blanc with a subtle lemon flavour

    I didn’t know what to expect with this as I had never tried this brand before but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Sav Blanc was light and refreshing and the hint of lemon flavour was delightful. A great quality wine at a decent price point. Perfect for easy catch ups, relaxing afternoons etc. I would definitely buy this again.

    Whilst my guests enjoyed the wine and found it refreshing with a hint on citrus, I did not like the after taste as I found it was quite sour.
    As first I thought it was quite zesty with a hint of lemon but the longer I continued to drink it become more sour. A hit with my guests and they will be repurchasing!

    A dry rosé with a subtle slightly sweet aftertaste

    This was a surprising drink. I don’t like the bitterness of some grapefruit, so was afraid that was what this wine was going to taste like…
    I was pleasantly surprised to find this rosé was only ever so slightly sweet with a hint of sweet, ruby grapefruit as an aftertaste. It is very easy to drink and I think it would go extremely well with some cheese on a hot summer day. If you don’t like your white/rosé wines too dry, this is for you!

    Great concept, but missed the mark for me.

    I absolutely loved the idea of this combination—the thought of a crisp, refreshing Grapefruit Rosé from Lobster Reef sounded like the perfect summer sip. Unfortunately, the flavor profile just didn’t quite hit the spot for me personally. While it wasn’t my favorite, I still really appreciate the creative twist and the concept behind it. Might be worth a try if you love highly experimental fruit-infused wines!

    Beautifully refreshing drop!

    The Lobster Reef Sauvignon Blanc Lemon is a refreshing drop! With a crisp, zesty flavour it goes down nice and smooth. The touch of lemon adds a difference without losing the traditional Sauvignon Blanc notes. It was light, easy to drink, and perfect for sharing. The only slightly negative thing I found was the cap didn’t want to go back on the bottle. Unfortunately meant we had to polish the bottle off ;-P. This drop is a refreshing option for anyone who enjoys citrus-inspired drinks and is looking for something a little different on the wine front.

    Too Lemony

    This would be a very refreshing summer wine with it’s aromatic lemon flavour, but in winter it’s just not the same. The lemon flavour is just too strong in the first few sips, but it certainly tastes better the more you drink of it! This wine reminds me of humid summer days in a lush plant filled beer garden.

    Loght sweet and delicious!

    The Lobster Reef Lemon Pinot Gris is a light, easy to drink wine. It’s sweet in flavour and thicker in texture. It’s seriously delicious and priced very reasonably. I shared it with friends over dinner as it is an easy social drinking wine. I would definitely buy this wine again.

    Refreshing flavour

    Grapefruit was an interesting flavour I had never tried in a wine. It was a subtle flavour but enhanced the Rose. I enjoyed the wine with a nice grazing platter with my husband and I think it would be perfect for a summer bbq!
