I tried the Largo Lager for this review and I actually really enjoyed it. I normally drink a pale ale or pacific ale, but this was nice and crisp and good for a hot day. It’s 1.2 standard drinks. I recommend you go out and buy it and try it for yourself.

It’s not a bad beer at all but it’s not the lager I’d be salivating over after a days work. I’m a bit torn to be honest because in one regard it’s pretty heavy but on the other it’s light. Largo is considerably malty, she’s a hoppy lager; the head on my pour was thick and fluffy yet the beer wasn’t heavily carbonated, if anything the citrus gave it such a refreshing finish and the colour was a light amber. It’s a good beer I’ll probably end up picking it up again in the future. Like that they’re carbon neutral, more breweries could be doing better there. Interested to see what Largo release next.

I got this for a celebration at our home. The guests who tried it loved it. There were also some non beer drinkers who opted to try them and they really liked it too! I think its a good buy and its also very reasonably priced as well. My husband loved it too and has said he will be getting more of them in the future! So all in all a good buy!

Firstly I love that this beer is carbon neutral, it’s great to see companies making ethical environmentally friendly choices! As for the beer itself it is super tasty. It’s light and fresh and best served ice cold with a citrus wedge of some sort to compliment the slight zesty-ness it has.

This Lager is exactly what it says on tin a clean lager, it’s has a very neutral taste to it that doesn’t exactly leave you longing for more but can be appreciated for what it is an easy going sessionable lager. Can easily sink a few on a hot day with no worries about the beer feeling too heavy or overpowering in taste however it wouldn’t be the first beer I would reach for in the bottle shop taste wise.

Largo’s Clean Larger is exceptionally easy to drink.
A million miles away from a chewy stout or a fruity ale, this is quaffable lager that leaves zero (unpleasant) aftertaste.
It’s an uncomplicated though pleasant taste…anything but objectionable.
It’s crisp & mellow character leans towards knocking back a few cans on a summer afternoon with the crew.

I was pleasantly surprised to try the largo clean lager as I usually don’t try new drinks, its something I would be pleased to drink again and found it refreshing to drink over the weekend whilst relaxing on a hot summers day to take the edge off! Happy with the taste

An Easy to drink crisp and clean Larger that is carbon Neutral as well. Largo is best enjoyed at a BBQ with friends or at the beach. Has a pleasant aroma and no unpleasant after taste. It’s a solid choice when looking for something uncomplicated and refreshing that thinks about the world around us.

I gave LARGO Clean Lager a try recently and I have to say, I really liked it. It’s one of those beers that’s best when it’s ice cold. It’s super smooth, crisp, and really easy to drink. As it started to warm up though, it lost a bit of that fresh, clean taste for me. It’s definitely a beer you want to keep cold.
It felt a bit heavier and stronger than what I normally go for, but not in a bad way. It’s got a nice, clean finish and a bit more body than my usual picks. I wouldn’t say it’s going to be my go-to beer, but I’d happily have it again. Maybe on a hot day or hanging out with friends.

It is a clean lager but it tastes more like pacific pale ale I do like it as I’m a pacific pale ale fan . If your not into a fruit flavour beer it maybe not your beer. But it’s worth a try on a nice beer like largo clean lager . I give it a 4.5 star out of 5 .

Would definitely recommend LARGO lager! Super easy to drink, refreshing and enjoyable.

One that you could settle in for the arvo at a trendy venue, enjoying the sunset and listening to some tunes.

Doesn’t leave you bloated and being produced carbon neutral means that it isn’t contributing to Global Warming.

I enjoy a lager as an end of work day treat but some can be a bit fizzy and unflavoured. This had the perfect balance of crisp taste and a hint of bite while being very drinkable! I really appreciated the carbon neutral brewing. Often we have to choose between being frugal and being responsible so I love that I don’t have to make the decision!

Expected this to be a crafty take on lager but was quietly suprised. Largo is an easy to drink lager with a slight hop profile that is lacking in most session beers. I drank this while watching the game but it would not be out of place downing a few of these at a BBQ or gathering. Overall a good beer worth a go.

I loved it and will buy again.

I tend to stick to three beers on rotation, so I didn’t expect to love this. But it was surprisingly clean and crisp and refreshing. Didn’t leave me feeling too yuck or heavy, like some beers do. Perfect for Friday afternoon knock off drinks (like right now!). The price is also quite reasonable, so I’d definitely buy these again if they were on sale. Thanks for the opportunity to sample these and widen my drinks palette.

An easy drinking beer with a slight bitterness but very light on the flavour.
It’s a lager that’s easily smashable due to the 1.2 standards, but the flavour is not necessarily one you’re coming back for. A good beer to have in between a more fuller flavoursome beer. Would have every so often.

This beer is a super crisp and fresh tasting beer. I am not usually a lager drinker (prefer pale ales and draughts), however the Largo lager doesn’t taste as heavy as some other larger beers I’ve tried in the past. I would definitely buy this beer again in the future, I recommend!

Easy drinking lager, crisp and refreshing. Fizz is not over bearing and flavour is not over powering. Definitely a good beer to have for all occasions but might not be everyones first choice. Flavour could be better as it is a little watery. The can art is great and definitely draws in potential buyers!

This is crisp, clean drinking typical of a good lager. It has the expected taste-quality for the same price point as other more premium brands. I would definitely consider this when purchasing my next lager and would recommend it to friends and family who like this kind of drink. Thanks for allowing me to try this.

One of the easiest drinking lagers on the market, has the perfect amount of “craft beer” taste to it, will be able to have a session on it, and not be a new born giraffe learning to walk after you have finished drinking, definately recommend getting amongst this beaut of a drink!

What excited me at first was the colab with the Leimbach brothers, then that first crack that first sip makes perfect sense. An enjoyable Australian larger with that feeling of an European Pilsner. Fits in to my typical FNQ lifestyle of beach, fishing and creek swims.

Nice easy drinking lager. Not a strong hop flavour. Didn’t have an unpleasant aftertaste. It went down the throat like a ferret down a rabbit warren. Largo brewing, crisp, clean lager. Easy to drink and refreshing. Carbon neutral is the way of the future. An Australian winner of 2024 world beer awards.

Took me a while to find this beer in Dan Murphy’s, but I was glad I did.

It says on the can that this is a sessionable lager, and I can agree with that. It’s very easy to drink and doesn’t have the strong Hoppy or malty flavours that might make you switch after a couple.

It has a slight after-taste at the back and sides of your tongue which is not unpleasant.

Nice easy drinking beer that goes down nice and easy without the bloated feeling I normally get from drinking beer.
Very nice flavour and would be more than happy to add this to my normal rotation of beers.
Price wise it’s on par with most other beers of the same style.

NOT FOR ME

Wasn’t entirely sure what to expect with Largo Clean Lager so opened the first can with trepidation. The first mouthful was interesting so I had another couple. Tasted nice, and left a slight fruity taste which wasn’t unpleasant. Finished the first can and opened the second (purely for research purposes of course!) and actually enjoyed it. Nice aftertaste, no bloating and less burping (which happens with beer). Was astonished to find a completely sealed can that was empty!? Turns out there was a split on the bottom of the can and the beer had leaked out, leaving a stain on the cardboard packaging. It was dry so mY have happened during transit.
Apart from that, I think this will be a beer I buy whenever I want something different to my usual drinks.

A certain thirst quencher! Light, bready malt flavours with a tickle of citrus.
Cracker of a beer with value for money included.

Not the worst beer I’ve had and definitely not the best beer I’ve had, It lacks a bit of flavour for my liking.

This beer goes down easy and is refreshing on a hot afternoon. Not too bloating and will easily be able to finish the 6 pack. Would like it too have a bit of a higher as it’s 4.2%. Overall would probably buy again but wouldn’t be the first one I would reach too
