    Perfect Pinot

It’s not often you find a nice Pinot for under $30 however this one definitely delivered the goods.

Stonyfell "Way Maker" - ladies, it's yummy!

The “Way Maker” Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with Mercy Valley’s classic sharp and crumbly cheddar. The wine’s sweetness complements the cheese’s richness, while its acidity cuts through the creaminess. A perfect match for a wine and cheese night!

    A springboard into Langhorne Creek

Experiencing a lot of competition at the price of around $15 this Shiraz doesn’t have the tannins of other, richer options, but it makes up for it by providing a confident, fruit forward experience that would be a welcome addition to any BBQ or casual evening.

For a cozy night in or out!

I tried the Stonyfell Origination Shiraz from Langhorne Creek, and this one surprised me in the best possible way. I was expecting something decent, maybe a bit bold, but what I got was delightful and smooth. Right out of the bottle, came the smell of berries with a little hit of spice. First sip? Smooth. No harsh bite, just this mellow, full-bodied flow. It’s cozy, rich, and grown-up without being pretentious. A solid red that doesn’t try too hard — just brings the vibes and lets you enjoy the moment. Would I drink it again? 100%. Would I lowkey bring it to a dinner party and pretend I know a lot about wine? Also yes.

    Lovely Drop

Pinot Noir is my beverage of choice when I do drink so when the opportunity arose to sample a bottle of Pinot from the Stoneyfell Waymaker range I immediately scheduled a Friday Wine Down. It had been one of those weeks and the four grownups were keen to unwind. We set the kids up for their Minecraft session with bowls of chippies to share so we knew we had a good solid hour to ourselves! Everyone is happy! I opened our bottle and poured the magical elixir into glasses for us ladies and the fellas had …whatever they were having. A toast and a sip and there were smiles all ‘round. I find that ‘heavier’ wines immediately set off my rosacea but this was in the mid range with no reaction, wonderful, and I don’t enjoy a sweet wine so this being on the dry end of the scale made for very pleasant drinking and was very much enjoyed. I’m no connoisseur but I know what I like and this earthy drop was lovely. Reasonably priced, too. Great to share with friends (or not) and no special occasion required.

    Light and easy to drink

I recently bought the Waymaker Pinot Nior and I really enjoyed it. It was light and smooth with a bit of cherry flavour and a small amount of spice. What I liked most was its lightness- it didn’t feel heavy at all. I even added. A few ice cubes to chill it slightly, like I was sipping wine in Spain. It worked perfectly. Super easy to drink and great with food or on its own with friends!

    Easy to drink

This was really easy to drink. Light but full of flavour and nice served chilled, I enjoyed this over dinner with my steak and pasta. Nice Berry notes and like that its not so heavy. Would like to try some of their other varieties. Would buy this again for a casual.dining experience.

    Sophisticated Pinot Noir

This is my first time trying Stonyfell Wine and I am very impressed. I tried a glass of Stoneyfell Waymaker Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir, which is medium bodied and full of flavour, smelling and tasting like berries. Best served chilled, it’s a delightful and sophisticated drink that I thoroughly enjoyed. The 750ml bottle contains approximately 8.1 standard drinks with 14% Alcohol. Available at a great price for quality red wine. Highly recommend.

    Delicious wine!

This wine was an absolutely hit at the dinner party I took it to. A lovely pairing with the lamb dinner, delicious flavours that really complemented the meat. Bought another bottle when I went to Dan Murphy’s this week so would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a delicious bottle of wine.

    So smooth

My second bottle purchased since trialling the first one! Really delicious, smooth and pairs well with meat. Everyone complimented this Pinot noir and couldn’t believe how affordable it was for a great taking wine. Not too heavy, silky smooth and very easy to drink. Definitely one I’ll continue to purchase and recommend.
